ShamRock ‘n’ Ride Burger Tri

Coming March 17, 2018. A completely different kind of triathlon! It’s burgers, bikes, and beer with the ShamRock ‘n’ Ride Burger Tri! The setting is Macon, Georgia, and your challenge starts with coffee shots. Then hop on your bike, and it’s off to the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. Your next challenge is a juicy burger followed by what they call the Cupcake Crucible challenge (not exactly sure what this is, but cupcakes sound delish!). The final challenge is a cold green beer (or soda) and a fun awards ceremony with music and prizes for the top competitors and most green, oops, we mean best dressed. Sounds like a lot of fun, and all proceeds will support Bike Walk Macon, a non-profit organization leading the movement to make bicycling and walking a safe and convenient option for all Maconites.
