Coming September 23, 2023. A multi-sport adventure race celebrating some of the outdoor activities of the Pacific Northwest. Introducing the Big Hurt, held in Washington’s Port Angeles area since 1997. This event includes 4 challenging race legs. Starting out on a mountain bike, leg one is a 15 mile ride on logging roads, single-track trails, and pavement. Next, is a 2.6 mile kayak or paddle board along the shores of Port Angeles. Leg 3 is a 30-mile road bike race with a cumulative elevation gain of 2,100 feet. And the final leg is a 10K run along the Olympic Discovery Trail. Choose to race solo (Iron Division) or as a relay team of 2 to 4 people (Team Division). Get ready for some major challenges with beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery at the Big Hurt!
