Witsend

Coming September 24, 2023. Grab your helmet and head to Whistler, because there’s a new women’s enduro race called The Witsend! The race is named after a group of schoolteachers who purchased a cabin on the shores of Alta Lake in 1955. These fun-loving, adventurous women used to make the arduous, all-day journey from Vancouver to Whistler and christened their cabin “The Witsend”. Taking place on Whistler’s extensive mountain bike trail network, the event is a 6 stage, 22 kilometer course with less than 1,000 meters of climb. It’s challenging and geared towards intermediate and advanced-level riders, but there is a shorter course (about 15km and 650m of climb over 4 stages) for less experienced riders looking for some fun. The race will be capped at 250 women, so sign up early for the Witsend!
