West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta

Coming October 21, 2017. Grab your paddle and head to the regatta. But this isn’t your typical regatta; there are no sail boats or row boats. As the name suggests, at the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta, you paddle around in giant pumpkins! How fun! Held at the Lake at Tualatin Commons, a few miles south of Portland, Oregon, giant pumpkins are provided by the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers club, choosing the biggest, most float-worthy pumpkins. There will be 4 heats, one of which is open to the public based on a lottery system. Other events include a giant pumpkin weigh off, pumpkin pie eating contest, pumpkin golf, pumpkin bowling, food and more. For a fun Halloween-themed event, check out the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta!
