Spring Showers, Whistler Flowers

Now thru July 2022. Don’t fret when the weather is wet! There’s something magical that happens in Whistler Village when those rain drops fall…it’s Spring Showers, Whistler Flowers! The Resort Municipality of Whistler commissioned local graphic designer, Ruth Barrow, to create some art displays highlighting the flowers and alpine meadows surrounding this British Columbia destination. As you’re strolling through the Village, look down as you’ll see native and spring flowers, including lupines, Indian paintbrush, mountain arnica, and a blooming alpine meadow along the paths, but the catch is that they are only visible when it rains! That’s thanks to the temporary rain-activated paint used! The paint will last until July before disappearing and is non-toxic, environmentally safe and biodegradable. Enjoy those sudden bursts of rain at the Spring Showers, Whistler Flowers event!
