NYRR Retro 4-Miler

Coming July 13, 2019. Get your groove on! The NYRR Retro 4-Miler is a throwback-themed race held in New York City’s Central Park. A vintage car will lead the race through the “inner loop” of Central Park, so there’ll be some rolling hills, a downhill, and some flats. And in keeping with the theme, don’t expect timing chips or digital clocks at each mile. It will be old-school with staff calling out splits. Any and all retro gear are welcome – headbands, tube socks, nylon track suits, and leg warmers – or maybe big 70s hair, a la Farrah Fawcett?
