Ridge Run and Memorial Day Parade

Coming May 27, 2019. If you’re in Chicagoland this weekend, lace up those trainers and check out the Ridge Run and Memorial Day Parade. This race has a neighborhood feel as runners take to the streets of the Beverly/Morgan Park area in southern Chicago past elegant houses, old town businesses, quaint buildings, and Chicago’s highest hill. There’s plenty of support with residents lining the streets cheering and offering water throughout the course. Choose from a 10K run, 5K run/walk and Youth Mile with cash prizes awarded to the top finishers. Following the race, there’s a goodie bag, light refreshments, and one of Chicago’s oldest community parades. For big community spirit and a hometown parade, consider the Ridge Run and Memorial Day Parade for fun on this upcoming three-day weekend.
