Las Vegas St. Patrick’s Day Run

Coming March 16, 2019. Don’t forget your green running shorts! It’s the Las Vegas St. Patrick’s Day Run, also known as the descriptive, Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam. A Scottish bagpiper kicks off the race with distinctive music as you choose from several distances: 1 mile, 5K, 12K and half marathon. The course is scenic, taking runners and walkers along the Historic Railroad Trail through the hills of Lake Mead National Recreation Area (about 18 miles from Las Vegas) and through 6 tunnels for the half marathon distance. Enjoy views of the desert, crystal blue waters of Lake Mead (the largest man-made lake in the US), and the impressive Hoover Dam.
