Coming March 19, 2019. Be inspired and empowered at the Women Outside Adventure Forum by Backcountry Experience (BCEXP). Going on its fourth year, this Durango, Colorado based business has hosted this three day event showcasing exceptional female adventurers. The evening talks feature ultrarunner Kelly Halpin, adventure journalist Morgan Tilton, National Geographic Adventurer Hilaree Nelson, REEL ROCK 13 Climber and Outdoor Research athlete Madaleine Sorkin, and US/Mexico Border thru-hikers Tenny Ostrem and Claire Wernstedt-Lynch. Most of the talks are free to attend and open to the public. The last day is a screening of Hike the Line, a film about Tenny and Claire’s historic journey. Sign up for tickets, as space is limited and includes a drink and hors d’oeuvres. Proceeds benefit the San Juan Citizens Alliance, advocates for clean air, pure water, and healthy lands in the San Juan Basin. The Women Outside Adventure Forum promises to spark your adventurous spirit with this year’s theme of Explorations!
