Coming November 22, 2018. Gobble, gobble! Founded in 1916 as a remembrance run for veterans, the Troy Turkey Trot is one of the largest and oldest road race in the United States (12th!) and 64th oldest in the world. It’s held Thanksgiving morning in Troy, New York, just north of Albany and features four events: the competitive 5k and 10k runs, the one mile Turkey Walk and the Grade School Mile. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers, as well as to the best Thanksgiving and most unique costumes. Start your Thanksgiving off with a calorie burner at the Troy Turkey Trot!
