National Park Week 2018

Coming April 21-29, 2018. Next week is National Park Week, making it the perfect opportunity to explore our treasured outdoor sites that have been set aside for public appreciation and recreation. The theme this year is “Park Stars” and celebrates the night sky and beyond. The week kicks off with free entrance to all national parks and continues with parks across the nation hosting a variety of programs and events. Check out the ranger lead talk about Great White Sharks at Cape Cod National Seashore (pictured above) or head to Devils Tower National Monument for the Lyrid meteor shower or Yoga the Wright Way (clever, clever!) at Wright Brothers National Memorial. Many, many events to choose from, so go to the National Park Service website to find out what’s near you. Reach for the stars during National Park Week!
