Coming April 7, 2018. They’re blooming in the nation’s first county park! It’s the cherry trees! And what better way to enjoy them than to participate in the Cherry Blossom Challenge Bike Race at Branch Brook Park. This New Jersey park dates back to the 1800s and was designed by the landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted Sr (yes, that Frederick Law Olmsted Sr, of Central Park fame!). The flat, 2.2 mile course takes you past the over 5,000 cherry trees in the park and promises cash prizes and goodies to winners!
