Coming March 4, 2018. Woof, woof! It’s the Year of the Dog so celebrate Chinese New Year in North America’s biggest Chinatown with the CCHP Chinese New Year Run held in San Francisco, California. This 5K or 10K timed race is a popular one with a colorful lion dance kicking off the start for good luck and good fortune. Expect a scenic course with some short hills (no surprise here, since it’s San Francisco) as it takes you through Chinatown, North Beach, along the Embarcadero, downtown, and back to Chinatown. Double that loop for the 10K route. Post race, there will be awards, refreshments, goodie bags, and presentation of the best dressed DOG!
