Coming June 4, 2016. Celebrate the trails! This year is the 23rd anniversary of American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day (NTD). Kick off the summer with a wide range of activities including hikes, biking and horseback rides, paddling trips, birdwatching, geocaching, gear demonstrations, and stewardship projects. Last year, NTD was highlighted by 2,329 activities taking place in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico and 176,000 people getting out and getting active on trails in their community. Join the American Hiking Society in experiencing, promoting and protecting our trails!
