Unleash the SHE

Coming May 1, and October 23, 2016. The Land of 10,000 Lakes state has 2 ways for you to show your support in the fight against ovarian cancer. Head to Rochester or Bloomington for the Unleash the SHE (Strength, Health and Empowerment) 5K and 10K women only races. (The guys can also show their support with an untimed 5K race.) A portion of the registration money benefits the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, a non-profit that focuses on support, education, and research. The number of runners is capped at 1,500 for Rochester and 2,500 for Bloomington, and both course are relatively flat. Race swag, door prizes, and awards complement the overall good feelings of participating in a race that gives back to an important cause.
