Coming November 21, 2015. Known as the “hardest race you’ll ever love”, the Catalina Eco Marathon and Half is a true challenge for marathon trail runners. Held on beautiful Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California just 22 miles of south-southwest of Los Angeles, the course covers some killer hills. Choose the 26.2 mile or the 13.1 mile length taking you over dirt trails with awe-inspiring views of the Pacific Ocean, and if you’re lucky, sightings of the island’s buffalo. Note that this year’s race is a “cupless” one – no disposable cups will be used at the water stations. You can bring your own hydration system or you can purchase a Salomon reusable soft-cup. A scenic, eco-friendsly trail run, island-style!
