Marine Corps Marathon

Coming October 25, 2015. Semper Fi. It’s the 40th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM), aptly nicknamed the “Marathon of the Monuments”. Though registration is full, you can still participate through the many charities that have partnered with the MCM. Highlights of the mostly flat course read like a tour guide of the nation’s historical landmarks – Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon, the Washington Monument, the Jefferson, Lincoln and FDR Memorials, the Capitol, the Smithsonian Museums, Georgetown, and finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial. Expect about 30K runners and lots of enthusiastic cheering spectators. Oorah, a patriotic, picturesque marathon!
