The San Francisco Marathon

Coming July 27, 2014. Golden Gate Bridge…check…Fisherman’s Wharf…check…Golden Gate Park…check…Haight/Ashbury…check. The course route sounds like a listing of all the best landmarks in the beautiful City by the Bay. The San Francisco Marathon is expected to have over 25,000 runners participate in their marathon, 2 half marathon options, 5K, and even a 52.4 double marathon. When one thinks of San Francisco, hills come to mind, but actually about half the course is flat, a quarter is uphill and a quarter is downhill. Lace up those running shoes and get ready this summer for a beautiful urban road race marathon.
