July 30, 2021

Currently available: Varies  Visit their site to learn more

Coming July 31, 2021. Celebrate the alligator pear! The last day of July is designated as National Avocado Day., so treat yourself to some guac! Here are some fun facts about this fruit (yes, it’s a fruit, not a vegetable!): avocados are good sources of omega 3 fatty acids, potassium, fiber, and vitamins C, E and K; avocados have protein (2nd highest fruit after guavas); in the 1700s, European sailors referred to avocados as the “‘midshipman’s butter” (so they started the avocado toast trend!); and avocados were first cultivated in Central and South American over 10,000 years ago. Who doesn’t love guacamole?
