Whidbey Woods Trail Run

Coming July 17, 2021. The return of the trail races! Join Northwest Trail Runs for their Whidbey Woods Trail Run this Saturday. Take the scenic ferry from Mukilteo, just north of Seattle, to the Clinton ferry terminal on Whidbey Island and drive about 20 minutes to Putney Woods County Park. Choose from 3 distances: 5K (285 foot climb), 10K (615 foot climb), and half marathon (1585 foot climb). The route takes you through beautiful second-growth forest with flat to gently-rolling terrain punctuated by steep-sided ravines, and a mix of winding singletrack and wider and straighter trails. The race will be run concurrently with the Whidbey Woods Checkpoint Run, a navigation race in its third year. Enjoy the island at the Whidbey Woods Trail Run!
