This year’s theme is Restore Our Earth, and there’s an emphasis on five main pillars: The Canopy Project, which is a massive effort to plant trees across the globe; Food and Environment, which focuses on understanding the environmental impact of our food choices; The Great Global Cleanup, which includes individual and group events to combat global waste; Climate Literacy, which ignites an education revolution to save the planet through grassroots support as well as institutional efforts at the school level; and The Global Earth Challenge, the world’s most accessible and transparent citizen science database portal ever created.
