Coming October 5, 2019. From the folks that brought us the largest relay in the world…it’s the Hood To Coast High Desert! This one’s a single-day relay (no sleeping in the field required!) with 12 legs, ranging in distance from 4.2 to 7.9 miles, for a total of 70 miles. Legs vary in difficulty, from easy to very hard, due to the varying distances and terrain, and teams consist of 4 to 6 members. It starts and ends at Brasada Ranch, just a quick 25 minute drive from Bend, Oregon and takes runners through the scenic Cascade Mountains, past Smith Rock, Prineville Reservoir, and the Crooked River. A walking relay is also an option with 8 legs and 47 miles, along the same route but starting at Exchange 4. Join in on the fun at the Hood To Coast High Desert!
