Coming August 9-13, 2019. Sweeping views and the possibility of sighting sasquatch! It’s the Bigfoot Endurance Runs, 4 challenging point to point races through Washington’s Cascade Mountains, location of the most Bigfoot sightings. Here’s the rundown on all 4 races: the Bigfoot 20 mile is 20 miles with 4,165 feet of elevation gain, 4,178 feet of elevation loss, and it must be completed within 9 hours; the Bigfoot 40 mile is 43.5 miles with 9,019 feet of elevation gain, 9,059 feet of elevation loss, and it must be completed in 18 hours; the Bigfoot 100 is 68 miles with 14,144+ feet of elevation gain and 14,218 feet of elevation loss, and it must be completed within 25 hours; and the doozy of them all, the Bigfoot 200 is 206.5 miles with a whopping 42,000+ feet of elevation gain, and it must be completed within 105 hours (that’s 4.5 days!). Runners will experience varied terrain and views of Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens, lava fields, long mountaintop ridge lines with stunning forest, mountain and lake, deep old growth forests, and misty mountain tops.
