Girlz on Fire Women’s Triathlon

Coming May 11, 2019. The World Triathlon Destination hosts an all women’s triathlon. The Girlz on Fire Women’s Triathlon will be held in Clermont, just 20 minutes west of Orlando, Florida, where they host more individual triathlons than any single location in the world. The event centers around Lake Minneola with water temperatures expected to be a warm 82-84 degrees. It features a 440 yard swim in the lake, an 8 mile bike course around the lake, and a 3.1 mile out and back run on the South Lake Trail. You can also participate in a Sprint Duathlon or a 5K run. There will be medals, colorful women’s event shirts, carnations, and prizes for top finishers, including a top mother/daughter prize. The Girlz on Fire Women’s Triathlon is a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend!
