Mt. Bachelor Sunchaser Spring

It’s almost here! Sunchaser Spring at Mt. Bachelor is that special time of year when you can ski and snowboard in the spring sunshine. Mt. Bachelor, in Central Oregon, has the largest ski area in the Cascades, and all 4,318 acres of terrain are scheduled to remain open every day through the end of April! Then in May, more than 2,000 acres will be open daily through May 26. Those dates are contingent on the weather, of course, but it looks pretty promising that they’ll hold. Wow, what an amazingly long ski season! Besides the skiing and snowboarding, there are some fun events planned, such as the Big Wave Challenge, a unique snowboarding and surfing competition.
