Maratona Internazionale di Roma

Coming April 7, 2019. When in Rome, do as the Romans do! It’s almost time for the Maratona Internazionale di Roma (aka the Rome International Marathon). The course reads like a tourist’s dream: starting and ending at the Colosseum and running past more than 500 of Rome’s most important and famous locations such as St. Peter’s Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Spanish Steps. Expect a few hills (remember that Rome is built on 7 hills) and the Sampietrini stones or cobblestones that add character to Rome’s historic streets. Runners will enjoy an exceptional course with the Maratona Internazionale di Roma!
