A National Historic Landmark, the Mark Twain House was built for Samuel Clemens, his wife, Livy, and their children in Hartford, Connecticut. They lived there from 1874 to 1891. The after-dark tour of the Clemens property, includes the main house, the servants’ wing and the basement, which is normally off-limits to visitors.
