Coming August 12, 2012. If you’ve ever considered a triathlon, this is a great one to kick things off. The 5th Annual Outdoor Divas Sprint Triathlon takes place in Longmont, CO (just north of Boulder). The course consists of a very reasonable half mile swim across the Union Reservoir, a flat 12 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run. This all women’s event is very popular because not only is it a reasonable course for first-timers and really fun for serious sprinters, it’s also limited to 550 competitors and maybe most importantly, the water temperature is pretty warm… last year is was a balmy 73°F.
