Vallea Lumina

So much more than a walk…it’s an experience! Vallea Lumina is a multimedia journey through the old-growth forest of Cougar Mountain courtesy of a collaboration between Moment Factory and The Adventure Group (yes, the folks that brought us Superfly Ziplines!). Starting at sundown, take the complementary shuttle from Whistler Village and prepare to be amazed with this interactive show which includes a combination of emotive lights, videos, soundscape and scenography. The experience takes about a hour as you walk along a 1.5 km trail through this British Columbia forest, following clues left by a pair of long-ago hikers with the goal of finding the magic, hidden valley where stardust falls from the sky. As if you needed another reason to visit Whistler, there’s the Vallea Lumina to light up your night, now through October!
