Tuscan Hilltowns REI Women’s Adventure

Coming September 9, 2018. Andiamo! Join REI Women’s Adventure for their Tuscan Hilltowns trip, a seven-day jaunt through the Italian countryside. A small group size with a maximum of 14 ladies ensures a cozy group to explore quaint villages, ancient cities, and medieval hill towns. Journey highlights include hiking in Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti, an authentic Italian cooking class, guided tour of Siena, wine tasting at a small women-run winery, and a tour of an alabaster workshop. Daily hiking ranges between 2.5 miles and 9.5 miles with an average elevation gain/loss between 500 feet and 800 feet.
