Coming March 17, 2018. Fresh snow-covered mountains in the heart of California’s Sierra National Forest. The Sierra Mountain Center is offering a Women’s Backcountry Hut Vacation for a small group of adventurous ladies. This is your chance to enjoy the great outdoors on snowshoes or cross country skis. Lodging will be in a 14×20 feet, plasticized fabric covered hut with a steel frame, wood floor, and wood fired stove. A guide, permits, group backcountry gear, tents, hut use, breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be included in this 2 day/1 night vacation in the backcountry.
