Camping with Jessie: Survival Intensive Weekend

Coming October 7, 2017. Learn from the best! Women’s Wilderness is offering, Camping with Jessie: Survival Intensive Weekend, a 2-day skills session in the beautiful Colorado wilds. Jessie Krebs has 25 years of experience in teaching practical wilderness knowledge, from her time as a United States Air Force survival instructor, as well as participation in 2 television series focused on survival in the Serengheti desert and a competition series pairing experienced survivalists and pampered partners. Jessie concentrates on the 5 basic needs of camping survival skills: building shelters and fire; off-trail hiking; gathering and treating drinking and cooking water; cooking a meal over the fire; and exploring signaling principles. This is a fun and informative weekend and includes the use of top quality backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, and all the other outdoor equipment you might need.
