Coming August 3, 2017. Commemorate Canada’s 150th heritage anniversary with Wild Women Expeditions’ French River to Byng Inlet Kayak Expedition. This eight-day kayaking adventure takes you along a Canadian Heritage River to the islands of Georgian Bay. The rugged beauty of this area inspired the paintings of the Group of Seven, a group of Canadian landscape painters from 1920 to 1933 who initiated the first major Canadian national art movement. This active adventure is suitable for kayakers of all skill levels and includes a 3 hour sea kayaking clinic on Day 1, sea kayaks and paddling gear, camping gear, meals, and certified female sea kayak guides at a 6:1 ratio. A backcountry kayaking trip that revels in Canada’s natural beauty!
