Breck Epic

Coming August 13, 2017. A challenge with altitude and some of the best backcountry loops around. It’s the Breck Epic, as in Breckenridge, Colorado where this 6-day mountain bike race takes place. With a total of 240 miles and about 40K (no, that’s not a typo, it’s 40 thousand!) feet of vertical gain and loss over the 6 days in a unique cloverleaf format, you can expect to ride 35 to 50 miles each day over some killer long climbs and fast downhill singletracks that begin and end within a mile of downtown Breckenridge. Weather can be all over the place too, from the mid-40s to the high-70s with the possibility of rain and lightening coupled with an elevation of close to 10,000 feet. The Breck Epic is certainly an epic ride in a beautiful location!
