Coming February 14, 2015. A romantic night in the Land of 10,000 Lakes! Bundle up and join the REI Outdoor School for a Valentine’s Evening Snowshoe Hike at Lake Elmo Park Reserve due east of Minneapolis, Minnesota. No experience necessary – they’ll teach you snowshoeing techniques for ascending, descending and breaking trail in the snow, caring for your equipment, and nighttime winter travel and hiking skills. Snacks, snowshoes, gaiters, and hiking poles provided.
