Destin Fishing Rodeo

Coming October 1, 2014. Head to the “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” for the Destin Fishing Rodeo. Started in 1948, there are daily tournaments throughout the month of October with over $100,000 in cash and prizes awarded for the largest fish caught in a number of different categories. Whether you choose to head out on one of the registered boats, paddle out in a kayak or even fish from the pier, there’s a huge natural abundance of fish to be caught including King Mackerel, Marlin, Sailfish, Red Snapper and Grouper, to name a few.
