Waikiki Roughwater Swim

Coming September 1, 2014. We have all heard of the famous Waikiki Beach – you know, the beautiful, white sand beach with surfers and sun bathers in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. On Labor Day, open water swimmers will hit the waters for this 3.8 km course starting at Sans Souci Beach, cover the length of picturesque Waikiki Beach, and end at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel channel. Possible high surf and strong currents can make this a challenging race, and definitely worthy of World Open Water Swimming Association’s designation of the Waikiki Roughwater Swim as one of the top 100 open water swimming races in the world.
