Reykjavik Marathon

Coming August 23, 2014. A marathon in the world’s northernmost capital in a sovereign state. The Reykjavik Marathon is a relatively intimate marathon offering 6 distances to choose from – marathon (expect about 1,000 participants), half marathon, marathon relay for teams of 2-4 people, 10K, 3K, and a Lazy Town Run for the kids. The route is mostly flat with some rolling hills and an altitude change of only 30 meters. Enjoy one of the geothermal baths and pools in Reykjavik after the race, along with the Reykjavik Culture Night, a musical, artistic, and culinary celebration of Iceland.
