Avalanche Level 1 Course by Backcountry Babes

Coming March 15-17, 2013. Are you prepared for an avalanche? For those TrailblazerGirls skiing the back-country, it’s probably time to get certified in Level 1 avalanche safety and back-country travel skills. So, you’re lucky that the team at Backcountry Babes are offering their Avalanche Level 1 Course. This course teaches women an awareness and knowledge of avalanche safety, how to plan for and travel safely in avalanche terrain, and how to use current avalanche rescue techniques. And, with their technique of learning in an all-female environment, you’ll gain the confidence to apply your skills with a lot of camaraderie and support. Oh, and yes, there is a sauna… because it’s not all work you know.
