Ride the Hurricane

Coming August 4, 2019. Ride to the top! The Ride the Hurricane is a round trip, recreational ride that takes cyclists from Port Angeles to the Hurricane Ridge Summit in Washington’s Olympic National Park. That’s at an elevation of 5,240 feet! Hurricane Ridge Road presents a challenging climb, but this is an untimed event and the road will be closed to car traffic. There are 3 distance options to choose from, 24 miles, 36 miles, and 100 miles, with 5 aid stations along the way with water, snacks and portable toilets. Be sure to get your photo taken at the “I made it to the top” sign at the summit with the impressive Olympic Mountains as your backdrop. Big bragging rights await you on the Ride the Hurricane!
