Coming May 23, 2015. If you’re a cyclist, you must know about this race. The Tour of Somerville Cycling Series is the oldest major bicycle race in the United States. Started in 1940, in the central New Jersey town of Somerville, this three-day event includes a sports and music festival, a carnival, 5 different criterium races, a parade, and the 50-mile Kugler-Anderson Memorial Tour of Somerville, known as the “Kentucky Derby of Cycling.” It’s described as a big family reunion, so gather your family and friends for Memorial Day weekend and cycle on!
