Coming July 19, 2015. Know what’s the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world? It’s RAGBRAI (aka Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa), a seven-day bicycle ride across the state of Iowa. The route changes every year but is about 468 miles through the Iowa countryside from the western border on the Missouri River to somewhere along the eastern border on the Mississippi River. The lucky 8,500 riders who win the lottery, can expect an average of 67 miles per day. A challenging ride across the Hackeye State!
