Coming August 2, 2014. An annual bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. In 2013, the Pan-Mass Challenge cyclists raised an impressive $39 million to support adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund! They hope to top it this year with a goal of $40 million. This is a two day cycling event where 5,500 cyclists ride up to 188 miles and each commit to raising between $500 and $5,000. Various routes through Massachusetts are offered and range from the most challenging, 188 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown to the less difficult, 27 miles from Babson College to Patriot Place.
