Iditarod Trail Race

Coming March 2, 2013. Did you know that yes you can get involved with the world-renowned Iditarod Trail Race? In Anchorage, there is the ceremonial start of the Iditarod that you can participate in… just go early to visit with the mushers & dogs as they get ready along 4th avenue. Join other folks as they come out with musher lists in hand, pick your team and cheer them on. You can even attend the Mushers’ Banquet. After all, if you ever considered attending the Kentucky Derby, why not this?
