Mt. Baker Hill Climb

Coming September 8, 2019. It’s “only” 22 miles but there’s an elevation gain of 4,098 feet! It’s the Mt. Baker Hill Climb, a point-to-point, thigh-busting cycling event in northern Washington. The Mt. Baker Highway will be closed to vehicle traffic so riders can make their way up this very scenic paved road from Glacier to Artist Point. Expect switchbacks and a steep climb with rewards of beautiful vistas of the Cascade Range and surrounding area. Choose from 3 classes with staggered start times: Social at 7am (3 hours to finish); Recreational at 8am (2 hours to finish); and Competitive at 8:30am (timed). As they say, Pedal. Breathe.
