The Big Plunge!

Various dates and locations throughout Washington in 2019. Take the plunge for a good cause! Not just any plunge, it’s The Big Plunge! An event to help support and raise awareness for the Special Olympics Washington, The Big Plunge!  is one of the coolest parties around. This weekend on Alki Beach with iconic views of Seattle, they will try to break the Guinness World Record for “the biggest polar plunge”. To this end, all participants must wear swimsuits, be waist deep in the water, and remain there for at least 60 seconds. Burrr! Following the plunge, there will be food trucks, local brews, winter beach games, and music to dance off the cold! As they say, “The cold is temporary. The impact is not.”, so show your support for the Special Olympics Washington!
