Wooden Boat Festival

Coming September 9, 2016. Time to get out on the water! Head to the beautiful town of Port Townsend, Washington for the 3-day Wooden Boat Festival. This port town prides itself as a “Victorian Seaport and Arts Community” and is an ideal setting to host hundreds of indoor and outdoor presentations and demonstrations including: Seawomen of Iceland, Small Boat Capsizing Demo, Human Powered Submarine, and Planning a Successful Cruise to Alaska. There are also plenty of chances to get out on a boat from longboats to kayaks to schooners and even a replica of the original Lady Washington, the first American vessel to make landfall on North America’s West Coast. Enjoy live music, a food court, and local beers and wine.
