The Expanded Double Bento Box from the folks at Takenaka is just what you need to elevate your meal on your next camping trip or bring some joy to your everyday (home) office lunch. Made in Japan by a company that has been producing these beautiful, traditional Japanese lunchboxes since 1925, the Expanded Double Bento Box is a two story box with a shallow bottom tier, capped with a lid and fork nestled in it, and a deeper top tier with a removable partition. An elastic band conveniently holds it all together, though it’s not spill-proof, so avoid liquids. Once you’ve finished with your meal, the bottom tier fits in the top tier to consolidate the two.
