A US first: America’s oldest National Park. Interestingly, Yellowstone is the home to not only Old Faithful but also the majority of the world’s geysers. This is the main reason the park was established in 1872, and it’s now the last natural temperate zone ecosystem on Earth. And something else a lot don’t know, this is also a great park for cycling as well as backpacking, camping, hiking, boating, fishing and horseback riding. With bike routes and bike/camp passes, Yellowstone can be explored in a whole new way.
