Britain’s first national trail. The Pennine Way is a beautiful long distance trail that covers 268 miles from the Peak District National Park along the Pennine ridge through the Yorkshire Dales, up into Northumberland, across the Cheviots, and ending along the Scottish Borders. Expect at least an 18 day journey, and accommodations include youth hostels, bed and breakfasts, mountain refuge huts, and camping.
